I did not like starting up a blog and I agonized the first two weeks of class. Being a digital immigrant literally took me hours to complete what digital natives did as second nature. But as I reread all of my blogs, what is amazing is being able to track my own learning and recognizing what I have achieved. Guess that I am sorta proud of it!! My blog title was not haphazardly chosen. It was a challenge and a dare to step out and learn something new.
My favorite blogs:
Most Professional Posting: Crossing Over
This one is more personal. I selected it as my most professional posting because this is when my blogging morphed into more than just weekly assignments. I realized that I could be a producer of a professional blog and not just a consumer of other people's blogs. So while the posting is not the epitome of what a professional blog should be. It represents the feelings and thoughts.
Most Creative Post: Blogging and VoiceThread
The VoiceThread proved to be a creative and interesting way to get an idea out to others. I received several comments on the VoiceThread from other teachers.
Best Design: Digital Storytelling
Who doesn't like a new box of crayons? Also the story that is in this multimedia video is for teachers. We all look at our students' eyes and into their souls. This is my model of what I am striving for and how I want my digital storytelling to connect with others.
Deb's People Choice Awards:
Kelsey , Natasha and Debi are the ones I read when I want to read blogs that speak to me. I connect with their voice and love the analogies and stories they chose to write about. Sometimes they are funny, sometimes they just write about everyday life, but they are thoughtful and I can always hear their voice. Isa and Mary are solid. They are good at blogging and offer fabulous resources.
The overall award goes to Michelle Shaw. She is thoughtful, creative, and insightful.
This blog posting says it all.

You're a convert Deb! And I can see (read) the changes in your entries over the course of the last couple months as you become more and more of the "real life you" in your writing. Thanks for the shout-out :)
